As a Systems Administrator within our IT team, you will be responsible for providing support to our 300 end users and ensuring their IT equipment and systems are working correctly by ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. The team is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and optimisation of our systems, which makes a critical contribution to the seamless operation of our digital banking platform.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the rollout, management and administration of core service infrastructure, taking the lead on specific systems or projects as appropriate
- Work on the design, deployment, and documentation of new solutions and of enhancements to existing solutions in line with agreed technical standards and policies, as well as manage and administer our current products and services
- Set up accounts for new joiners and make adjustments as necessary for current employees as they move into new roles/departments
- Administer MDM solutions for company laptops and BYOD
- Integrate ZTNA solutions to ensure secure access to cloud-based applications
- Collaborate with the IT Security team to:
- Develop, implement, and enforce robust security policies and procedures
- Align IT practices with broader security initiatives
- Understand current operational security issues and develop solutions
- Apply patches and updates to system and third-party applications
- Contribute to creating an IT self-service system, including a wiki, and potentially including AI if appropriate
- Provide support to our staff for technical issues with their devices or systems

Requirements
About You
This is an exciting role for a Mac systems administrator with strong knowledge of the basics who is looking to learn more and take the next step in their career. We have a small number of “essential” requirements and encourage applications from anyone who meets these even without meeting the “preferred” skills and experience.
Essential
- Experience working in a Mac system administrator role with:
- macOS
- Atlassian (Jira & Confluence)
- Google Workspace
- Slack
- Password management tools
- Mobile Device Management tools
- A desire to be part of an inclusive and diverse culture in which everyone thrives
- An approach to your work that focuses on a positive user experience within a security-focused environment
Preferred
- Experience working with: ChromeOS, Google device management, Google Cloud Platform, and Make
- Experience with the Jamf suite of products for Apple device management (Pro, Protect, Connect, Security Cloud)
- Some experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Experience working in a financial services or similarly regulated environment
- Proficiency in implementing IAM solutions to control access to critical systems and resources
- Familiar with standards such as ISO 27001 and CIS Benchmarking
- An interest in collaborating with senior management to develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
About Our Process:
We can be flexible with the structure of our interview process if someone's circumstances or timescales require it but our general structure is:
- 30-minute meet and greet with our talent acquisition specialist via google hangouts.
- 1-hour technical interview with the hiring manager via google hangouts.
- 45-minute Final interview

Hybrid Working:
