IQ-EQ is going through an unprecedented level of digital, and broader operational transformation as it seeks to support realisation of its strategic ambitions. We have an exciting new opportunity where you will lead a new global operations reporting & analytics function and build out a global resource planning capacity.

Group Operations supports our business to deliver quality client service and drive operational excellence as we continue to grow. We work closely with our global client delivery locations, local country client delivery teams, general management, and key leaders across the countries and functions.

As the Director of Operations Reporting, Analytics and Resource Planning, you will build an expert team, work closely with globally dispersed cross-functional teams leading the development and delivery of high-quality reporting and analytics.  You will also play a critical role in developing strategy and plans to drive improvements in our resource planning processes globally, ensuring we have correct resourcing levels to meet client delivery requirements, have accurate forecast capabilities, monitoring productivity and service levels.

This role will work closely with Group Analytics, Transformation & Change, Global Client Delivery, Country Management, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Finance.

As a direct report of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will play a vital role in the strategic direction IQ-EQ will take in the next few years as we scale our global operations efficiently and effectively.  

To succeed in the role, you must be comfortable working at both ends of the spectrum - you’ll be building the high-level strategy and rolling up your sleeves to get things done!

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

Reporting & Analytics

  • Lead the Global Operation Reporting & Analytics function.
  • Provide quantitative insights to support business decision-making to drive improved operational performance.
  • Employ data-driven storytelling through detailed analysis and data visualization which drives action to optimize Operations

Resource Planning

  • Developing a global strategy and resource planning process for IQ-EQ. You will partner with the Global Head of Global Client Delivery and Regional Operational Directors to define the approach and process. We need a thought leader who is able to review our existing IQ-EQ operational model and propose and deliver a fit-for-purpose IQ-EQ model which will ensure we meet the needs of our rapidly scaling business.
  • Defining the best practices for IQ-EQ: You will be the thought leader and subject matter expert defining the standard operating procedures for forecasting and resource planning.
  • Forecasting & capacity planning: Work with Global Client Delivery, Finance and HR to ensure we have an efficient process and model for headcount planning.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Education / professional qualifications

  • Graduate degree, preferably in Finance or Technology
  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership capacity in leading and implementing capacity planning projects; recent stints in leading digital projects would be a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in reporting and analytics field
  • Knowledge in reporting, data analysis, modelling, data visualization, user-centric thinking, and outstanding excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Possess a high level of expertise in technical knowledge on emerging and innovative insights and analytics techniques, tools /platforms
  • Strong customer-orientation, commercial awareness, and prior stints in customer-centric organisations would be highly advantageous.
  • Consistent track record in project management and implementation.
  • An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills; an authentic leader with good time management, inclusive behaviours, and a strong belief in people development.
  • Favourable consideration will be given to those with regional experience in working in a matrix organization, with global virtual teams

Knowledge, and professional experience

  • Significant experience and track record of execution in operational excellence, projects and core capability build
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholders and demands at various levels throughout the organisation
  • Experience of communicating and working with C-level management team and senior stakeholders 
  • Experience of working in a complex, multi-country professional services, financial services or BPO organisation with complex processing requirements
  • Passion, dynamism, and drive

  • Strong diplomatic skills with a high degree of self confidence

  • Mobility, global travel will be required (~6-8 times a year)
