The Role
Veeva Link seeks a mid-to-senior level QA Engineer who will participate in all aspects of testing new and innovative web applications. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and new product development in an established company that is rapidly growing. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to expand their well-established career, who is excited about solving complex problems, and ownership, and who enjoys working with technologies like React, Python, Postgres SQL, and AWS.

What You’ll Do

• Test scalable web applications utilizing open-source tools and technologies
• Use REST and GraphQL APIs
• Be able to work independently while communicating progress to other members of the team
• Lead the test planning, automate common test cases, and perform manual testing of new features
• Identify complex bugs and create detailed bug reports
• Create a testing suite using AWS synthetic monitoring
• Automate regression testing utilizing GitHub pipelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with software testing
• Experience with both manual and automated testing
• Experience working within Unix terminals
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Great eye for detail, precise
• Bold and willing to speak up if something is wrong
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English (writing and speaking)

Nice to Have

• Experience with any of the following would be a plus: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, AWS (or another cloud provider), Elasticsearch, Redis
• Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems
