Marketing Coordinator - CRM & Email at Online Education Services

This position is a hybrid role based in OES’ Birmingham office (2-3 days per week) with the remainder working from your home.  

Requirements

The CRM & Email Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing and Student Recruitment Team in creating and executing segmented data-driven marketing communications to maximise engagement with prospective students. They’ll work alongside the Marketing Manager to create, manage, and optimise campaigns and be a true advocate for customer data within the team.

  • Managing email campaign strategy and having ownership of campaign planning and execution.
  • Run the day-to-day management of email delivery and execution, developing a programme of communications that deepens engagement with prospects and students.
  • Applying email marketing best practices across all areas, ensuring best-in-class campaigns.
  • Using a CPD to implement dynamic and personalised content across promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor overall KPIs on an ongoing basis and report on the performance of new initiatives, monthly KPIs and other customer marketing activity.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to develop an effective A/B testing and optimisation plan with ownership for its execution and improving future email performance based on findings.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to reward and reactivate customers at different stages of the customer lifecycle.
  • Help to build a comprehensive view of our target students and improve visibility of customer behavior and targeting opportunities.
  • Maintain and manage customer data, responsible for data hygiene, standardisation, validation and de-duping activities, including GDPR requests.
  • Adapt the strategic plan in response to new opportunities and challenges throughout the calendar year.
  • Implement improvements and tailor future campaigns to keep increasing the open and click-through rates and to drive conversions.
  • Recommending and creating automated campaigns that comply with customer lifecycle and customer journey models, ensuring the content is targeted to the different needs of these customers.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of email and SMS delivery platforms and related products.
  • One year + of experience working in digital marketing.
  • Experience in B2C marketing.
  • Experience in building/designing mobile responsive email HTML templates.
  • Appreciation of cross-browser/email compatibility issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent data analysis, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet variable deadlines.
  • Understanding of digital attribution for campaign tracking and optimisation.
  • Experience creating and managing automated workflows.
  • Experience with managing email marketing campaigns and managing contact data.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
