What you'll Do

Are you ready to level up your project management skills and orchestrate impactful transformations within Viasat? As our new Project Manager in the P&C Transformation Office, you'll own the charge of initiatives, driving successful execution and maximizing value for our P&C function. We offer an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your existing Viasat knowledge, collaborate with familiar teams, and craft the future of the company from the inside out!

The day-to-day

• Own the entire project lifecycle: From conception to completion, you'll own the planning, execution, and monitoring of critical P&C transformation projects.
• Mastermind strategic plans: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments, ensuring alignment with P&C objectives.
• Champion clear communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, keeping everyone informed and engaged throughout the project journey.
• Navigate obstacles with expertise: Proactively identify potential roadblocks, implement swift corrective actions, and maintain smooth project progress.
• Inspire and empower your team: Motivate and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
• Become a data-driven leader: Track and analyze project data, generating insightful reports and making data-informed decisions for optimized performance.
• Embrace continuous learning: Stay current with evolving project management methodologies and best practices, sharing your expertise and driving overall team improvement.

Qualifications

What you'll Need

• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build trust and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated expertise in planning, risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as those used within Viasat (specify relevant tools).
• Passion for driving positive change and a commitment to achieving impactful results.

What Will Help You On The Job

• Experience in the P&C or related industry.
• Experience with leading projects.
