Technical Training Supervisor (INTERNAL ROLE) (INTERNAL APPLICATIONS ONLY)

Your dream role:
The Technical Training Supervisor will support the Head of Product Information & Training with day-to-day tasks and longer-term goals for department growth. They will oversee the team of Training Instructors working in the UK and occasionally overseas.
Working with the wider Product Information team, they will work to ensure that all departments are aligned and prepared for new product launches and vehicle deliveries. They will work with other areas of the business, and suppliers, to gain the required information on new technologies and ensure that training is provided to customers, internal staff, and Field Service Engineers and that our training portfolio for existing products and systems is available and remains relevant as part of our global training strategy.
Main responsibilities:
To support Head of Product Information & Training with the following:
Team admin
Customer bookings & training schedule
Support course creation and updates
Training plans for zero-emission and diesel product
Support with tender process
Liaise with suppliers for customer and FSE training
Plan dept priorities around vehicle delivery and new product development
Invoicing, training credits and PO’s
Maximising commercial growth
Work alongside Product Information Supervisors
Along with tasks associated with Training Instructor role:
Work with the support of Product Information colleagues to ensure continuity of content across all training and technical documentation.
Engage with engineering teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders, to create training material for AD products; developing and updating course materials and curricula, create engaging training content and assessments, training packages for classroom/workshop-based hands-on training.
Help drive growth of AD24 Training Academy product through development of online content and eLearning
What you will bring:
Strong commercial background to enable continued growth of dept.
Experience in a supervisory role
An understanding of vehicle service, maintenance & repair techniques, along with knowledge of diagnostic tools, electrical schematics & other engineering concepts.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively to recipients at all levels using classroom and workshop delivery techniques, both written and practical.
IT literate and able to aid with creation of training materials to support course delivery.
Able to manage own workload and work autonomously where required.
Willing to travel nationally and internationally to deliver training courses at AD facilities and customer depots.
Able to understand and recognise AD’s commercial environment and our position in the market, the role Training has within the business and support success through active participation.
The ability to build an effective network of relationships both internally and externally, understanding the needs of all customers at all levels.
