Video Content Developer (up to £40,000)

About the role

As the Video Content Developer, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Editorial Video in the production, coordination, and delivery of high-quality video content across all of our channels. You will work closely with the editorial teams, assisting them in the production of engaging video formats that are relevant to onsite viewers and social media audiences of our brands. Additionally, you will provide support in data analysis and tracking of onsite video performance and assist in testing and adjusting video formats based on performance insights.

As a Video Content Developer you will;

• Coordination of the delivery of a range of video formats that are of interest and value to users.
• Test and analyse video formats, providing insights to inform adjustments and optimisation of video performance.
• Track the distribution and performance of our video (both site and social).
• Provide support in data analysis related to video performance to provide insights that will inform Immediate Media’s video strategy.
• Design and implementation of processes and checklists to enable efficient and quality production of video assets by on-brand and contributing editorial staff.
• Assist in the initial production or oversee the production of specialist format assets.

Requirements

• Experience in video creation, production, editing, and delivery for large consumer- facing brands.
• Knowledge of content trends and styles suitable for platform websites, YouTube and vertical social media.
• Comfortable with advising on the equipment, software, processes and innovative technology necessary to upskill editorial teams in video production and editing skills.
• Data-driven with a strategic mindset, committed to performance measurement, and continually driving both audience and commercial growth.
• Aware of and interested in the changing market landscape of video consumption and passionate about finding opportunities within this landscape for the IM portfolio.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• A self-starter who can manage multiple projects, teams, and priorities at once.
• An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
