Moneyhub has a vision to Enhance the Lifetime Financial Wellness of People, Their Communities and their Businesses. We are achieving this with our B2B2C business model. Moneyhub is seeking a hands-on sales professional with a kitbag of great technical skills. The new role of Business Development and Sales Operations Manager is a multi-layered role. Working in our sales team the role with execution across both (i) supporting the sales operations deliverables and (ii) also actively involved in leading smaller sales opportunities themselves.
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who has strong experience in Salesforce as this role will also be the CRM Administrator in the Personal Finance Tech (PFT) line of business. This individual will have also had experience in managing a matrix of sales professionals (more junior and senior) to ensure processes are followed, data is correct and, therefore, reporting is accurate.
This role will work closely with Sales Directors, Account Directors, the Managing Director and Moneyhub Chief Commercial Officer to help directly drive sales but also support in optimising the team. This is a role that can have a lot of impact on the way PFT does things and the success of its new business and revenue growth. It will be a core link between prospect and the business as well as helping align colleagues across marketing, proposition, product and customer success. It's an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- To manage the sales operations processes across the team. This includes working with our Campaign Manager to run our outbound lead generation agency, coordinate and support RFIs, RFPs and contracts/SOWs with clients as well as produce sales reporting for the MD. It is estimated that about 20% of your time.
- To be the primary responsible individual for qualifying all new leads PFT receives from MQLs. To contact, discuss and identify the opportunity and if qualified in, assign the opportunity to a member of sales to explore (and ideally close as a win!). This is estimated to be about 20% of your time.
- To take the lead sales role for our Moneyhub Multibuy Plan (MMP). The MMP product has been successfully launched this year with the likes of Voxi by Vodafone already becoming a customer. There is a quarterly sales target that this role will be expected to achieve. It is estimated that this will be about 30% of your time.
- Finally, this role will also be the PFT lead for our CRM, Salesforce. We are looking for someone who has the experience and capability to manage, configure and co-ordinate the customisation of Salesforce to meet the needs of the team, including fields, page layouts, flows, and reports. This includes training and onboarding of new PFT users and ensuring the ongoing user adoption and engagement of our CRM. It is estimated that this will be about 30% of your time.
Requirements:
- Experience in SaaS products and SaaS selling in a B2B environment and remotely.
- Experience in sales and/or marketing in a technology-led environment (within a regulated market or an early adopter market) will also be beneficial but not essential.
- Technical expertise and experience as a Salesforce specialist/administrator (Salesforce Administrator Certification highly desirable).
- Strong technical skills, including data analysis, report creation, and automations.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A team player, willing to muck in but can also work independently to get things done and delivered.
