Our Engineering Team is a leader in providing innovative solutions to clients across various industries, in both public and private sectors.
We specialise in helping clients with complex digital transformations, providing expert guidance and support throughout the entire process as part of this we have a specialist security engineering team that supports our larger cyber and engineering practices with designing, building, and delivering complex solutions to meet our clients' security needs.
The wider Engineering Team of over 60 highly skilled professionals, are passionate about delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs, while helping us continue to deliver world-class solutions and agile transformations.
Due to the nature of the client engagements, every employee needs to be able to achieve Security Clearance. This means that you need to have the right to take up employment within the UK, do not have or require any visa to work, and have been resident in the UK for at least 5 years without any gap(s) totalling more than 6 months.

You should be able to easily commute to our London office. For some roles/projects, travel to the clients offices will be required and the frequency is often determined by the client.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
This role is critical in driving the growth and success of the organisation, providing expert guidance to clients, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and excellence in security engineering services.
The successful candidate will have:
● A deep understanding of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, anti-virus software, encryption, SIEM and authentication mechanisms with experience in implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting most of these technologies
● A broad knowledge of industry standards and best practices for security engineering. This includes standards such as ISO 27001, CAF, and NIST, as well as best practices for security architecture, risk assessment, and compliance
● A deep understanding of IT infrastructure, including network architecture, servers, storage, and cloud computing. Being experienced in designing and implementing secure infrastructure solutions
● A good understanding of business operations, including business processes, workflows, and systems. Being able to identify security risks and threats that may impact business operations and provide recommendations for mitigating those risks
● Experience in project management, including scoping, planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
You should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the clients' satisfaction.

Whilst having experience in a consultancy is beneficial, demonstrable experience in working with clients/external partners in other settings will always be considered.
