This is an exciting opportunity to become the first hire for our Data function, shaping the direction of data-driven decision making within the company. You will lead on ensuring our data is ready to make evidence-based business decisions. You will design our ETL processes, internal data reporting processes, tools/integrations such as Mixpanel as well as data warehouse solutions.
As such, you will play a critical role in shaping and designing our data strategy, ensuring that we use highest quality data to enable data-driven decision-making in all parts of the business.
What you’ll do:
Create and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Develop and maintain data pipelines using ETL processes
Be the owner of our data to ensure data integrity and accuracy, while being easily usable by all parts of the business
Collaborate with Growth and Product teams to gather and analyze datasets, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
Assist in the development of data-driven strategies to optimize product and sales initiatives.
Leverage tools/integrations such as Mixpanel to track and analyze user behavior, engagement, and conversion metrics.
Set-up our data warehouse to store, manage, and analyze data, utilizing Big Query or similar data warehouse tools.
Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to data collection, storage, and analysis processes.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and business intelligence

Requirements
Experience with data cleaning, wrangling, transformation and analysis, preferably in a startup environment.
Experience with Python or alternative programming language
Hands-on experience with tools/integrations such as Mixpanel or other analytics platforms.
Proficiency in SQL
Good analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline development.
Good communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
A proactive and self-driven attitude, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
