Senior Business Development Sales Manager, EMEA Media team

Who You Are:
- We are seeking a Senior Business Development Sales Manager who will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing revenue for all products and services within the EMEA Media segment. This opportunity requires high-level Media experience, specialized TV Broadcast industry knowledge and expertise in identifying potential revenue opportunities through a strategic and proactive approach. The successful applicant will oversee day to day management of the team, managing performance daily through conversations both with individuals and on a team level to interrogate opportunities, their progress, stages and depth and breadth of activity to ensure healthy sales pipelines for the immediate term and longer term. Use this information to create accurate monthly and quarterly financial forecasts.
- We look to you to implement strategic initiatives, while working cross functionally and collaboratively with colleagues across the company. High focus on coaching and developing high performing employees. Setting clear goals and expectations at individual and team level, monitor and report performance against those goals and take all vital steps to optimise performance. Ensure delivery on central initiatives and tasks and driving development through performance management of team members, all with close support from VP & Senior Sales Director level.

Your Next Challenge:
- Develop the current team of new business sales executives and provide direction, development, and inspiration to the team.
- Achieve targeted growth and leverage available data to report on performance and to forecast outcomes accurately.
- Design and implement a team-level strategic plan that interprets and articulates business strategy.
- Manage the hiring, onboarding, objective setting, coaching and performance development of their team.
- Effectively implements Getty Images global vision, mission, strategy, culture, goals and supporting drivers, KPIs
- Secure an understanding of Getty Images’ formula for sustained success.
- Implements proper training and development of the skills for their team members together with the leadership team and Sales Enablement, and secure development of impactful employees.
- Provides insight on current market conditions and trends amongst clients and the industry and implement adjustment of priorities when required.
- Works cross-functionally with key partners, especially in marketing, product, finance, technology, legal and sales operations.
What You’ll Need:
- We require proficiency in structured selling; with the ability to identify gaps in team competence and address through training or coaching as needed.
- Able to coach for performance improvement and differentiate between coaching and feedback.
- Experience and expertise (minimum 5 years) using Salesforce or equivalent CRM system and KPI dashboards to manage performance.
- Experience of and comfort with Salesforce Engage, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or equivalent tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate expectations unambiguously.
- Ability to create an environment of trust and respect where all voices are heard.
- Skilled interviewer, comfortable with competence based interviewing approaches and committed to growing team diversity.
- Well-developed time management and organization; scheduling 121s and team meetings at an appropriate cadence to review and course correct monthly performance and future pipeline.
- Commercially aware and able to use available data via Excel and other reporting tools to build a forecast and track performance.
- Skilled networker and influential communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to reach senior and C-suite contacts externally and work effectively with subject matter experts internally.
- Demonstrated ability to manage for performance through active management.
Required Qualifications.
- Preferably, we would need at least 5 years of sales management experience of a team of at least 5 reps in a SaaS or Consumer Goods environment.
- Can quickly acquire or has developed an industry understanding.
