Roles and responsibilities
1. Photography and Videography Coordination:
Liaise with stakeholders and collaborate with both local and global marketing teams to understand the visual requirements of campaigns and projects
Advise stakeholders and brand managers on the best avenues for creating their desired content
Plan, schedule, and coordinate in-house photography and videography shoots in the dedicated office studio
Manage the video team and their workload, ensuring that video projects are delivered in line with a brands VBL, on time and within budget
Creatively manage shoots and advise the videographer on the optimal look and feel whilst shooting. This will cover all visual aspects such as art direction, lighting, framing, shot selection, editing and colour grading to ensure the highest quality visual content
Maintain and organise all digital assets on Dropbox, including images and videos, for easy accessibility
Edit RAW photography so that the imagery captured in-house is ready to be used on digital displays and is consistent with the video footage
2. Shoot Logistics Coordination:
Co-ordinate larger-scale photography and videography shoots, managing all logistical aspects, for digital marketing purposes
Source suitable locations, props, models, and equipment for shoots, considering budget, creative requirements and marketing insights
Devise creative solutions for transforming the studio into a range of different filming locations, to negate the need to hire locations (i.e make the studio look like a bathroom/bedroom, for example)
Maximise the efficiency of content production days so that footage can be utilised across multiple touchpoints
Oversee the scheduling, transportation, catering and accommodation arrangements for talent and crew members for shoots
Ensure all necessary permits/permissions/releases/licenses/legal documents/clearances are obtained for shoots
3. Budget Management:
Manage spending and budgets for shoots, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented
Monitor expenses, reconcile invoices, and report on budget status to financial stakeholders, ensuring that payments are always processed through the right channels
4. Equipment, Subscriptions and Studio Maintenance:
Maintain and organise photography and videography equipment and rentals, ensuring that everything is in safe working order and staff are trained on how to use the equipment safely
Manage subscriptions for services that the video team are subscribed to, such as online video editing software, stock image/video/music subscriptions
Liaise with finance and team members to see what equipment and software is needed, based on shoot requirements
Ensure that health & safety procedures are upheld at all times on shoots and that correct training is given to those who need it, in regard to filming
5. Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, creative, and product teams, to align on project goals and creative vision
Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers as necessary
Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure seamless execution of projects and visual consistency
6. Quality Control:
Uphold high-quality standards for all visual content, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines
Review and provide feedback on photography and videography work to ensure it meets project objectives
Constantly seek visual inspiration for projects, ensuring that content is fit for purpose
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Film Making, Graphic Design or similar
3-5 years of proven experience in photography and videography coordination, preferably in a healthcare or related industry.
Proficiency in photography and videography equipment and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Highly creative but can also ensure that deliverables adhere to a brands VBL.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Flexibility and adaptability to evolving project requirements.
