You will join our Water Team
As our new Project Manager, you will be part of our team responsible for the assessment, design, and rehabilitation of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure and resiliency projects for municipal clients in the Mid-Atlantic Region (Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia).
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Working effectively in a team setting and directly communicating with internal stakeholders (e.g., project manager, subject matter expert, project owner) and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, subcontractors, contractors)
Executing engineering design tasks of varying complexities and leading the development of design drawings, technical specifications, and front-end contractual documents of water and wastewater projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region
Preparing technical reports to define projects and provide clients with technical direction
Preparing proposals, fee estimates, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements
Participating in the quality review process of work products developed by others and coordinating the work of other engineering disciplines into final design deliverables
Training and mentoring early career engineering employees
Serving as a Project Manager on smaller, less complex projects and/or individual project tasks
Providing support for construction projects, including cost estimating, construction phasing/ scheduling, site inspections, punch list development and review shop drawings
Actively engaging in professional societies

Technical proficiency in water and wastewater infrastructure design (8+ years experience in the engineering/design field desired; demonstrated expertise accepted).
Specific experience in designing water distribution and transmission mains, sewage gravity systems and force mains, and pumping stations is preferred. Technical proficiency in water and wastewater infrastructure design. Water Storage design experience is preferred, but not required.
NASSCO PACP/LACP/MACP certification is preferred.
Mastered engineering fundamentals.
Strong communication skills.
B.S. Civil/Environmental Engineering.
PE license in Virginia, Maryland and/or District of Columbia desired with ability to obtain multiple licenses through reciprocity.
