Henning Larsen is seeking a motivated and inquisitive candidate who is looking to grow their career to join our New York City. This candidate will join a thriving office of 35 colleagues. The candidate will lead the Business Development and Marketing team which includes a Business Development Manager and Business Development/Communications Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with the talent and experience to work closely with the Partners and Senior Leadership to guide the studio’s Business Development and Marketing initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree required, degree in Architecture or related field a plus.
8+ years of experience working as a BD Director or Manager for an architectural or AEC practice required.
Responsibilities:
Develop BD vision and focus on collaboration with the New York-based partners.
Outreach to and network with potential clients and key collaborators.
Empower and support partners and staff in BD outreach.
Coordinate and track BD outreach efforts.
Identify key BD opportunities with partners and staff and oversee Go/No-Go processes.
Manage client-focused strategies that respond to client challenges and issues and create a competitive advantage for the firm to successfully obtain the work.
Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the department.
Organize and manage the development/production of RFQs, RFPs and presentation materials.
Edit, review, and periodically help generate the content of proposals and presentations.
Lead opportunity processes from pre-positioning through negotiation.
Direct market research on leads, clients, competition, markets, etc.
Develop annual marketing strategy, plan, and budget together with partners.
Represent Henning Larsen at industry events and conferences.
Periodic travel for client meetings, together with partners and other senior leadership.

Familiarity with Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.

Salary Transparency Statement
At Henning Larsen and as part of the Ramboll Group, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual rate between $147, 000 - $182,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
