Gryps is seeking a talented Software Engineer to help design, develop, and improve our "Connect Platform". In this vital role, you will work with a small team and play a key part in automating data and document ingestion across diverse construction-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Leveraging your expertise to build robust RPA, API, and database pipelines.

• Troubleshooting and supporting existing pipeline runs to ensure seamless operation and customer satisfaction.

• Enhancing and expanding existing microservices, aligning them with the overarching product vision.

• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, actively participating in brainstorming and planning sessions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional Software Engineering experience, with a proven history of impactful contributions.

• Proficiency in Python, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of industry best practices and coding standards.

• Proficiency in AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, S3 and SAM

• Expertise in web technologies, including Browsers, HTML, HTTP, REST, and APIs.

• Proficiency in browser automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Puppeteer, enabling seamless data handling.

• Outstanding communication and leadership skills, empowering you to mentor and collaborate effectively with team members.

Great to have

• Proficient in advanced web scraping techniques, particularly circumventing bot detection mechanisms like CAPTCHA, user behavior analysis, JavaScript challenges, etc

• Prior experience working with Microservices Architectures

• Founding engineer or early team member of a successful startup, with a track record of building and scaling robust technical solutions from ideation to production.
