The Financial Analyst, FP&A is responsible for assisting with the expense forecasting, budgeting, and analysis for functions such as Sales, Marketing, R&D, and IT. This person will work with the Finance Director, to provide financial feedback for key business managers, internal business partners and Datasite leadership. They will support cross functional initiatives by gathering and reporting relevant financial data and metrics.
Duties and Responsibilities
Monthly cost reporting against budget, prior year and forecast with variance analysis and commentary.
Monthly revenue recognition analysis
Partner with functional leaders to review monthly results.
Assist with financial modeling of budgets and quarterly forecasts to support strategic initiatives.
Partner with Accounting and payroll to support accruals and reclasses during month-end close.
Partner with analysts from other regions and teams to successfully achieve results.
Design and prepare routine and ad hoc analysis and reports of operating and financial results.
Build relationships with functional leaders to help drive the budget and forecasting process.
Education
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
Experience with financial analysis, forecasting and planning
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Demonstrated analytical skills
Proven leadership skills
Effective communication skills, written and oral
Experience in Adaptive Planning and Workday is a plus
