Responsibilities 

 

  • Utilize Altium Designer software to create high-quality printed circuit board layouts, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards. 

  • Work closely with hardware engineers, firmware engineers, and manufacturing specialists to ensure design integrity, manufacturability, and functionality of PCB designs. 

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including schematics, assembly drawings, and design notes to facilitate effective communication and future reference. 

  • Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to optimize PCB layouts for signal integrity, thermal management, and EMC compliance. 

  • Generate Gerber files, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM) for production release, ensuring accuracy and completeness. 

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to enhance design processes and methodologies. 

  • Provide technical support to resolve PCB-related issues during prototyping, testing, and production phases, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed. 

 

Requirements 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field. 

  • 5+ years of experience in PCB schematic and layout design using Altium Designer. 

  • Solid understanding of electronic components, circuit theory, and PCB manufacturing processes. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex design issues. 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and reliability in design work. 

  • Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principles is preferred.
