Led by Nesta for its first five years, the Centre is now a twin hub led by Newcastle University and the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) in London. This North-South approach enables us to work across the national policy landscape and provides greater regional ties.  We also work with a small consortium of research partners, focussing on Internationalisation; Arts, Culture and Heritage; Education, Skills and Talent; and R&D, Innovation and Clusters. The Deputy will play a key role in the strategic growth and day-to-day operational running of the Centre. They will oversee the implementation of business processes across the Creative PEC team and line manage and coach the Heads of Policy, Communications and Operations. The appointee will work closely with the Director, also engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across policy, media, industry, and the academic sector more generally. The new Deputy will be a persuasive ambassador for the Centre in a range of fora.
