Job Description

The Chief of Staff is a critical strategic advisor and right-hand to the Managing Partner, acting as a liaison among the team, and external partners. This role requires a combination of strategic planning, project management, and operational excellence to enhance our company's performance and culture. The Chief of Staff will facilitate the execution of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Advisory and Planning: Act as a confidant and advisor to the Managing Partner, assisting in strategic decision-making, business planning, and operational efficiencies.
• Executive Support: Manage the Managing Partner’s calendar, travel arrangements, and communications, ensuring efficient time management and prioritization of engagements in alignment with strategic objectives.
• Project Management: Lead and oversee strategic projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and alignment with business goals.
• Internal Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication within the organization, promoting transparency and cohesion across teams.
• Meeting Management: Organize executive meetings, including setting agendas, documenting minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
• Representational Duties: Act on behalf of the Managing Partner in meetings with stakeholders, conveying decisions and policies effectively.
• Culture Champion: Actively contribute to fostering a positive organizational culture, aligned with Global Ventures’ core values and mission.

Qualifications

• MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a strategic role with executive support duties, preferably within the venture capital, startup, or tech industry.
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing high-level relationships internally and externally.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
