THE ROLE

Our Asset & Portfolio Monitoring teams sit at the beating heart of the business, overseeing all aspects of the customer journey from onboarding to recovery.

You’ll join the team with dual responsibilities; part of your week will involve supporting the Asset Audit and account management teams with regards to Asset Audit output management and asset monitoring with the rest of the week assisting the Collections & Recoveries Manager and Portfolio Monitoring Managers with counter-party risk management. You will be diligent and respectful in your approach, spotting issues early and enabling the risk team to tailor financial solutions that best fit our customers. You will also collaborate with other teams including Commercial and Operations.

Other duties may be assigned outside of the following duties and responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage Asset Audit output whilst liaising with the National Client Managers and Credit teams regarding audit follow up actions to ensure swift closure of audits
• Asset Audit schedule support; including DADJ updates to Asset Audit frequencies
• Support with Asset Audit automation
• Oversight of arrears, working with the NCM team to and Collections & Recoveries Manager to ensure swift resolution of issues and to support the Collections & Recoveries Manager in any required arrears or recoveries resolution
• Report risks identified on a timely basis with accurate information and delivery
• Improve the efficiency and accuracy of our processes by supporting the ongoing development of Asset & Portfolio Monitoring processes
• To provide flexibility and an ability to prioritise workloads to meet the changing needs and demands of the business
• To engender a positive and professional working environment that engages customers so as to ensure customer retention and thus maximise opportunities at all times
• Assisting with the management of risk around the business via adherence to operational systems and processes at all times
  

Requirements

Must possess required knowledge and/or qualifications so that the essential functions of the job can be performed. 

• Ability to engage and build relationships with senior management across all areas of the business
• Confidence to make decisions within your authority levels
• You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You will be flexible and dynamic in your approach to resolving issues
• You’re independent and well organised with a ‘can do’ attitude
• You have excellent Customer Relationship skills
• You are hardworking and passionate about achieving great results
• You pitch in and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty
• You will have an excellent attention to detail and able to work well on your own and as part of a team
