Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Ecommerce Solutions Architect with a specialization in Marketplace to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing and implementing robust Salesforce ecommerce solutions that integrate seamlessly with various online marketplaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our ecommerce systems are optimized to enhance business operations and provide a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities  

• Design and implement scalable and effective Salesforce ecommerce solutions tailored to marketplace integration. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
• Lead the architectural discussions and decisions related to marketplace functionalities and integrations. 
• Optimize ecommerce processes and functionalities to improve user engagement and conversion rates. 
• Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of the ecommerce systems. 
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to the development team, overseeing the development and deployment of marketplace solutions. 
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in Salesforce and ecommerce solutions.

1. Proficient in Salesforce Commerce Cloud with a deep understanding of its architecture, capabilities, and limitations. 
2. Expertise in integrating Salesforce with various marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Shopify). 
3. Strong knowledge of API development, management, and integration. 
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize system performance. 
5. Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage projects and teams. 

Additional Skills: 

• Experience with other CRM and ERP systems. 
• Knowledge of web analytics and SEO best practices. 
• Familiarity with front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). 

Qualifications

Top 5 Qualifications: 

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
2. Certified Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer. 
3. At least 5 years of experience in a Salesforce architect role, specifically in ecommerce solutions. 
4. Proven track record of successful implementation of complex projects in Salesforce ecommerce environments. 
5. Experience in working with large-scale digital platforms and multi-channel retail strategies. 

Additional Qualifications: 

• Prior experience leading and working with geographically dispersed development teams. 
• Provide architecture and design for implementations, perform gap analysis between business requirements and design the configuration, customizations, extensions, and interfaces required to meet the requirements. 
• Responsible for the overall solution architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance of eCommerce web sites. 
• Ability to create scope and development estimates, and documenting requirements and designs. 
• Ability to develop best practices, assets / frameworks to help team learn SFCC and develop offerings to help customers with SFCC and related technologies. 
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner). 
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud. 
• Prior work in developing solutions for international marketplaces.
