We are looking for a talented Wordpress Developer who will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development of the global Ohme website, creating a user-friendly, highly converting online customer experience.

Requirements

What we need from you:

• Meeting with internal stakeholders to discuss website design, function and requirements
• Designing and building the website front-end, including the implementation of themes and plugins
• Creating and maintaining the website architecture and security infrastructure
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
• Conducting website performance tests; optimising loading speeds, fixing issues, and updating relevant website content
• Proactively manage search engine optimisation (SEO) and work with the global Marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed when creating new content for the website
• Troubleshooting content and technical issues
• Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the live website; website traffic, dwell times, conversion rates
• Keep the wider team up to date with website best practice.

Who you are:

• At least 3 years' experience in Wordpress development
• Good understanding of website architecture, security, and aesthetics
• Experience in the following languages/frameworks:
• PHP 8 - with an appreciation of both functional and object-orientated methods of programming
• HTML/CSS
• Sass
• Familiarity with Github
