LiquidX Studio is a gaming development studio with the goal to produce an open-world exciting game called Pixelmon.
We are based in Singapore and Malaysia with many of our team collaborating remotely from countries like New Zealand, Spain, Indonesia, and Brazil. With large backing from our recently raised funding round, we aim to create an entirely unique experience with immersive gameplay and extensive lore that will wow all gamers.

In this role, you'll optimise game assets while maintaining artistic vision, develop and implement art and animation pipelines, and troubleshoot technical issues. You'll stay on top of the latest trends and technologies, working closely with art and development teams to create visually stunning games that provide an immersive player experience.

Requirements
What You Can Expect To Work On
Work closely with the game artists to liaise between artists and programmers.
Contribute to the resolution of technical issues that may arise from other programs when working in Unreal Engine. Help us make the most beautiful game possible under tough technical constraints.
Anticipate artists' needs and create user-friendly tools for artists in Unreal Engine.
Work to improve core systems such as Animation, Characters, UI and Environment.
Optimize 3D assets, memory and game performance to help realize artistic and gameplay intentions.
Refine our art production pipeline to help execute our artistic and game vision.
Manage and guide a small team of Tech Artists
Help with integration of assets into the game engine.
What You Need to Succeed
Experience: At least 5 years of professional Unreal game development experience with a good working knowledge of Unreal editor scripting / tool development.
Technical Skills : Unreal 3D, 2D/3D games development, multiple platforms, Photoshop, Maya/3DS Max/Blender. (Good to have: Experience with Unity)
Experience working with Source Control (Perforce, Git, SVN)
Strong debugging skills with ability to work in an existing codebase, learn new systems/concepts and implement them quickly and efficiently.
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to make critical artistic and process decisions to produce the best quality product quickly and efficiently.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
