Position Summary The Data Collection Engineer will be required to work as part of the Data Collection team for a fixed term until project completion, ensuring that the data required for the project is collected to the required quality standards. This person will engage with the client on a daily basis to review data. They will also manage and track the data that has been collected, ensuring it is backed up correctly and packaged for upload to the client. The project will require some troubleshooting and repairs on hardware and software including Windows, electrical and electronic components, basic networking skills, software installation and configuration, and managing Docker environments. The project requires participants to perform prompted actions that are recorded on video whilst in a stationary or moving car, for sessions ranging from 30 to 90 minutes. The required working hours are approximately 40 hours a week. There may be the possibility of some overtime (evening or weekend sessions) if required and not encumbering the minimum rest time of one and a half uninterrupted days per week.  Responsibilities Sensitive data handling Data entry of participant information Reporting to program manager and project managers Monitoring and tracking data collected by other members of the teamTroubleshooting any software/hardware issues with the help of colleagues and technical support if required Setting up the camera equipment in different vehicles based on training provided Setting up the vehicles as per project requirements with a variety of objects loaded into the vehicles Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Fluent in English Good Microsoft Excel skills Good technical/software skills e.g. MS Office, Windows, and comfortable with troubleshooting software/hardwareElectrical and Electronic componentsSoftware Installation and ConfigurationBasic Networking skills including IP and port configurationsWorking experience with Docker environmentsLogical thinking(Good to have) knowledge of camera calibration and computer vision
