The Role:

ElevateBio is seeking a dynamic individual to join and, contribute to the Lab & Site Services team at our BaseCamp Waltham facility. The successful candidate will be detailed, organized, customer service oriented and have a strong self-directed. Key responsibilities include performing or overseeing of maintenance on lab systems and equipment, maintaining safe, organized lab spaces, and actively supporting lab personnel to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction and quality driven results. The individual should be a motivated self-starter, have a willingness and aptitude for adoption of new technology, an ability to build relationships and work effectively in a cross-functional team, and commitment to the highest safety, quality, and customer service standards. Contract position with potential for direct hire conversion. 

Here’s What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine lab operations including troubleshooting, maintaining, tracking, and documenting laboratory equipment and associated services in CMMS.
• Configure, maintain, and respond, as necessary to equipment alarm systems.
• Manage and complete service requests and perform/oversee equipment preventive maintenance/repairs, maintain associated spare parts.
• Complete work in timely manner to maintain site KPIs.
• Assist with new lab equipment onboarding.
• Assist with reviewing, writing, and optimizing procedures.
• Maintain safe, organized lab space, general lab housekeeping.
• Maintain consistent and accurate internal and external communication.
• Support site Facilities and Utilities projects as necessary.
• Actively support researchers and lab personnel to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction related to enabling cutting edge research and development of cell and gene therapies. 

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail.
• CMMS experience, Blue Mountain preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted, work on feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to work independently and in group settings with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective use of technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, CMMS (Blue Mountain).
• Passion for providing best-in-class customer service.
• Basic lab safety knowledge.
• 2+ years of experience working in a GxP biotech/pharmaceutical laboratory operations environment required.
• Familiarity and knowledge of a variety of lab equipment including various analytical instrumentation, centrifuges, incubators, refrigerators, freezers, and biological safety cabinets.
