Role description and responsibilities

The AI Product Manager constructs the overall AI roadmap and defines the strategic vision for the AI teams in close collaboration with the Head of AI. They have a deep understanding of Wealth Management, and the role AI and advanced technology can play in it. He builds close relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the AI team’s effort is aligned with overall strategy. The Product Manager leads a team of POs, engineers, designers and SME to envision, prioritize and build AI capabilities and solutions. They play a key role in educating key stakeholders on the possibilities offered by AI.

• Set ambitious and clear overall AI vision and communicate it effectively to stakeholders, the team, and the rest of the organization​
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure AI vision and developments align within Alpheya’s broader strategy and requirements​
• Promote internally the role of AI and facilitate its understanding and appropriation by the organization​
• Utilize market and industry knowledge to develop innovative propositions enhancing product offering and driving revenue growth, as well as coaching product owners and other junior colleagues​
• Define overall AI priorities and solution roadmap​
• Support product owners in incorporating AI vision and developments into their product roadmaps​
• Oversee end to end AI team output strategy from inception to production​
• Responsible for developing and implementing AI governance and risk policy​
• Accountable for overall AI specific KPIs once solution enters production and communicate regular tracking to stakeholders 

Requirements

• Proven knowledge and understanding of:​

1. The value chain and financial aspects of a wealth management​
2. The operations, practices, and procedures of a wealth management business​
3. The ML/AI application, standard practices and technology in a wealth management organization​

• Strong collaborator with experience of cross-functional teams from tech, product, and business, including third parties/consultants​
• 7 to 10 years of experience in wealth management or broader financial sector
• Experienced in digital transformation and agile practices​
• Deep experience leading with teams in an agile setting
• Strong leader, collaborator, team player, and individual contributor​
• Strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with business stakeholders​
• Strong problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
• Passion to challenge the status quo and find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas – loves and embraces change​
• Believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust ​
• Not afraid to “roll up the sleeves” and seeks to go outside comfort zone to learn – pushes teams to do the same
