We are R Agency, part of Steven Bartlett’s innovative communications group Flight Story Group. Founded in 2014, we work with some of the world’s most innovative and disruptive brands including Calm, Hinge, Kajabi, and Polaroid Therapeutics. 

We service clients across corporate (inc b2b and corpsumer) and consumer, splitting our revenue approximately 70/30 (70% corpsumer/ b2b).

We are making a series of growth hires including this one - working across our existing clients and helping us convert our next tranche of new business to continue our growth trajectory. 

R. Agency is 25 people strong, rising to over 100 as part of Flight Story Group. We are based on London’s Little Portland Street with our London based Flight Story colleagues. 

The role 

We’re looking for a social media manager to work closely with our client and strategy teams, translating data, insights and client positioning into content pillars, calendars, and content briefs that drive organic growth, traffic, and engagement across client’s channels. 

We are looking for someone who is confident across platforms (incl. X and linkedin), able to draft copy and oversee the direction of video and design content. 

This role will report into the agency’s Managing Director - Laura Jones.

Portfolio to include PolaroidTx and H2Fly.

Responsibilities

• Develop organic social strategies and content pillars across platforms
• Plan content calendars and write post copy
• Generate content briefs
• Post content across client channels
• Creative ideation that reflects the social themes and reactive trends
• Engage with client audiences through community management
• Analyse and report on channel traffic, growth, and performance
• Proactively identify opportunities to optimise content around and react to key trending moments on social

What about you?

You’re a creative, analytical thinker, in-tune with culture, able to take complex messages and create digestible, engaging content for business, stakeholder and consumer audiences. You know how to leverage data to inform creative decisions and build briefs that drive highly native and engaging social content. Your love for social might mean you have experience as a short form content creator yourself, as well as hands on experience with editing apps.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience of professional content curation, creation, and/or agency marketing
• Proven track record of growing and retaining social audiences
• Competent with channel management and reporting tools like Meta Business, Google Analytics or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of social practice across LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms
• Great understanding of setting growth goals and KPIs
• Critical thinker with strong organisation and time management skills
