Novo Nordisk has new openings for the position of Medical Sales Representative. Those positions will be based in United Arab Emirates (UAE) under the Obesity Business Unit. You will directly report to the Field Sales Manager.

The Position

As a Medical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the business plan for your geographical area to ensure the company objectives and sales targets are achieved. In addition, you will be measuring, tracking, evaluating, and presenting key metrics such as prescription depth and breadth planning.

Your main accountabilities will be:

• Contribute to the national business plan by achieving targets through the implementation of marketing and promotion strategies aimed at effectively presenting and promoting Novo Nordisk product(s) to healthcare practitioners

• Take an entrepreneurial approach, and you will be expected to operate with a high level of ownership

• Demonstrate a high level of understanding of customer needs

• Anticipate and adapt action plans to maximize opportunities and address challenges

• Work across different external stakeholders, including but not limited to KOLs, physicians, pharmacists, and hospital management

Qualifications

As a Medical Sales Representative, you need to be a self-starter, one who can evaluate options and find resolutions on your own with minimal supervision. Moreover, you need to have an aptitude for learning and the ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information, as well as a value proposition for the product(s) under your responsibility.

To be successful in this role:

• A bachelor's degree in Pharma or Health Sciences

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales within the pharmaceutical industry in the UAE

• Experience in the Obesity market would be beneficial

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English; Arabic Language is highly preferred

• An entrepreneurial mindset, a strong influencer, and an exceptional team player

About the Department

Diabetes Business Unit is leading new oral portfolio launch products in the UAE which includes world-class leading medication for the treatment of diabetes, as part of the team you will be responsible for promoting Novo Nordisk products and having exposure to our portfolio vision, business strategies, and critical market insight that contributes in changing diabetes forward. You will be contributing to ensure the latest therapies and products reach the people who need them the most.
