Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated summer intern to join our team and assist in orchestrating data analysis, tools and streamlining processes within our manufacturing environment. As an integral part of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract, analyze, and interpret data from various systems to drive actionable insights and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to identify data analysis needs and requirements within different departments.

• Extract, clean and manipulate data from multiple systems and sources to ensure data integrity and consistency.

• Utilize statistical techniques and tools to analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present findings and insights to stakeholders.

• Assist in developing process improvements initiatives based on data-driven insights.

• Work closely with sales to streamline data extraction, storage, and retrieval processes.

• Document processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize analyze and disseminate significant amounts of cross reference data with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Python, R, SQL, CodeSys

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Prior experience or coursework in manufacturing or industrial manufacturing is a plus.

• Office duties including sitting, standing, and walking in an office work environment. Including opportunity to tour a plant to gain insights for use of data analysis.
