At best, Diabetic patients in the UAE tend to spend only a few minutes interacting with physicians per quarter. This model creates a significant feedback gap that exits between patient visits (3-4 visits per year) and what happens to glycemic cycles they encounter daily.
GluCare has developed a new model of care that provides 24/7 coverage by tracking patient physiological and medical information from wearable technology and medical devices (such as Continuous Glucose Monitors and insulin pumps). Our proprietary Diabetes Prevention Protocols (DPP) incorporates the use of Machine Learning to conduct predictive algorithms to detect issues early and constantly monitor data alongside our remote care team consisting of coaches, nurses, and physicians.
About the Role:
We are looking for a mid-level Billing and Insurance Coordinator with prior experience in Emergency Department to join our dynamic team of individuals.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years of experience in a fast paced billing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing patient billing inquiries
- Providing explanation of charges
- Providing explanation of post charges and payments to correct accounts
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior Emergency Department experience is a must.
- Excellent communication skills, professional customer service, resourceful and motivated.
- The ability to be flexible is required for working different shifts, including weekends.
- Must be detail oriented and a multi-tasker.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance card terminologies.
- Data entry with strong attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledge in the FULL Process of the claim cycle including:
- Eligibility
- Authorizations
- Billing and collections
- Accounts receivable
