Your role in our mission

We’re looking for a Business Quality and Risk Manager to design, deliver and embed knowledge and quality standards across our customer-facing teams so that they are empowered to deliver exceptional service to our customers. You’ll lead a team of Quality Assurance Associates and report to the Operations Director. 

What you’ll do 

  • Lead a team of Quality Assurance Associates.
  • Oversee the delivery of quality assurance reviews, with a focus on ensuring poor customer outcomes are identified and remediated.
  • Coordinate QA calibration sessions and provide feedback on results to Customer Operations, Collections, Underwriting and Compliance Managers.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the Compliance, Customer Operations, Collections and Underwriting teams to drive ongoing improvements.
  • Support and oversee root cause analysis on potential systemic or emerging risks, informed by QA review outcomes.
  • Develop and produce robust QA MI utilising Power BI. This MI should inform feedback to Line Managers, enabling them to deal with any individual skills shortfalls, coaching and retraining as required; and highlight thematic insights into control weaknesses within the business.
  • Maintain detailed training and quality assurance records.
  • You and your team will become product and process knowledge experts.
  • Manage Audit and Compliance feedback relating to QA, addressing any failures with a robust plan to prevent any recurrent issues.
  • Ensure the QA KPIs and objectives are achieved.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, effectively navigating diverse perspectives and withstanding challenges to ensure successful collaboration and achievement of organisational objectives.
  • Managing and nurturing relationships with third-party suppliers and partners.

About you 

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role in Financial Services
  • Good understanding of Consumer Duty expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Excel, Power BI and Google applications.
