Responsibilities:

• Sells Freudenberg’s complete product portfolio to existing OEM and FSD customers with the objective of annually improving market share at each customer. 

• Identifies/qualifies new OEM and FSD prospects every month; and follows-up with visits to present the Freudenberg “message,” identify opportunities to capture business, and develop relationships with the decision makers in various departments. 

• Visits customers and prospects within his/her region approximately four days per week – which will usually require two to three overnights per week. 

• Accurately and promptly communicates customer quotation requests, orders, quality issues, information requests, etc. to appropriate Freudenberg personnel (i.e., Inside Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, and Quality) 

• Cooperates closely with the Inside Sales Team assigned to region 

• Supports the Authorized Fluid Sealing Distributors in his/her region by providing them with product literature, product training, sales tools, pricing guidelines, and traveling with their sales reps to help them win orders from their OEM customers.  

• Confidently presents to customer’s management via PowerPoint presentation and other visual aids. 

• Actively participates in projects that involve his/her customers such as developing new designs and structuring long term blanket agreements 

• Maintains a monthly Customer Visit Report log 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent  

• 3-5 years’ experience in a progressive sales and business development role 

• 1-3 years’ experience selling to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or Fluid Sealing Distributors (FSD)
