Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees.
Job Description
Technical coordination of a shift group and monitoring of production according to specifications along the value chain.
Technical management of a shift group to ensure smooth production flow (overview and evaluation of current production, initiation of necessary measures, if necessary after coordination)
Supporting the responsible manager in personnel-related issues (e.g. employee development, absenteeism, personnel deployment, etc.)
Participation in the processing of complaints and deviations
Assumption of activities in the current production according to specification
Trustful cooperation with internal and external interfaces (e.g. production areas, TS, CS, plant management, TCC/SEC, HR, BR)
Independent compliance with relevant operational requirements, standards and legal regulations (SOP, BV, tariff, law, etc.)
Qualifications
Knowledge as taught in the course of 3-year industrial/technical training and deepened through targeted advanced training of specialized knowledge. The work assignment requires at least three years of experience in a comparable function with planning/coordination tasks.
Good knowledge of general processes in production and knowledge of the value chain (relevant influencing variables, interfaces, etc.)
Good knowledge of assembly and injection molding processes, incl. key figures
Knowledge personnel management
Very good knowledge in the areas of resource and deployment planning
Good IT user skills (e.g. Office programs, MES & ERP)
English language skills (spoken and written)
