Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Program, Set-up, and operation of CNC Lathes/Mills & Manual Mills and lathes. More manual work due to prototyping tools and tooling modifications.
• Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Program, Set-up, and operation Lathes/Mills.
• Use optical comparator, micromotors, calipers, and other mearing tools.
• Manual editing & dimensional inspection.
• Part Inspection.
• Manual editing & dimensional inspections
• Must be able to run Lathe and make parts to prints that are given to you.
• Make sure parts are deburred and clean before going to inspection.
• Make sure your area is clean before shift and after shift.
• Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
• Run machines in a safe manner.
• Worked with tool steels.
• Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
• Notify management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulation.
• Applicant should possess functional and technical skills, attention to details and good judgment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks including fluid and filter checks.
• The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Qualifications

• Tig welding a Plus
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to read big print material.

Math Ability: Ability to apply basic math principles to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written ructions.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position for 8hr, Monday – Friday, Overtime required.
