Specialist Sales Account Manager - 2 years FTC

 

As a Specialist Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • BMW sales targets, maximising profit opportunities for Group and UK.
  • Identify and drive new incremental opportunities including daily Rental via Retailers, Flexi-hire business, Bodyshop Accident Management vehicle replacement sales, or any other tactical or 6-12 month holding-period sales channels.
  • Manage BMW demo fleet for customer base ensuring maximum exposure of BMW product.
  • Delivering customer satisfaction in-line with company strategy.
  • Customer compliance check management to include all relevant checks, credit, coins, and sanctions, as an example.
  • Customer account management
  • Specialist Sales channel event support
  • Forecast management / submission in-line with Specialist Sales forecasts.
  • Work closely with the Specialist Sales Exec. to ensure relevant information is communicated to progress new vehicle ordering, vehicle management and delivery plans.
  • Establishing strong and sustainable relationships with all major corporate customers and prospects through the provision of outstanding service and business solutions.

 

Qualifications

  • Successful track record in similar B2B role essential.
  • Excellent management and negotiation skills gained in a similar role.
  • The ability to demonstrate strategic, creative, and innovative thinking.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills together with sound business acumen.
  • Able to interact effectively with a wide range of people and negotiate at a senior/director level.
  • Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to be effective under pressure.
  • Sound understanding of vehicle finance/taxation, residual values and holding-cost calculations.
  • Able to operate both internally (team) and externally (customer visits) under pressure and dynamically – no one day is the same.
