The Brand Communications and Partnerships Manager will manage and run national brand experience events and activate partnerships with ambassadors in line with the global BMW Motorrad strategy.

 

What awaits you?

 

Events Management:

  • Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events such as product launches, brand activations, corporate conferences, and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop event strategies and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial targets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, vendors, and agencies to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiation, travel arrangements, and on-site coordination.
  • Oversee event marketing and promotion efforts to generate event awareness and drive attendance.
  • Evaluate event success using key performance indicators and metrics, and provide post-event reports and analysis.

 

Brand Partnerships:

  • Identify and initiate partnerships with relevant brands, organizations, influencers, and industry stakeholders to enhance our brand presence.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, including sponsorship opportunities, collaborations, and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with partner organizations to create mutually beneficial brand experiences.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated campaigns that leverage brand partnerships.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of brand partnerships, providing regular performance reports and insights.

 

Media Relations:

  • Manage PR agency to deliver priorities including:
  • Main contact for media inquiries and maintain strong relationships with journalists, reporters, and media outlets.
  • Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other materials to secure positive media coverage for the company and its events/partnerships.
  • Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and media attendance at key events, ensuring media engagement and coverage.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for media relations and brand exposure.
  • Help manage crisis communications and reputation

 

What should you bring along?

  • Motorcycle Manufacturer, Agency or event experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of the motorcycle industry, media, events and customer journey are essential. To have a passion towards BMW Motorrad, be comfortable and confident when engaging with customers and prospects. 
  • This role will involve weekend work and being away from home.
  • Personable skills are key as engagements and relationship building between Media, VIPs and other brands.
  • Understanding of the communication channels and media and advertising agencies beneficial.
