Project Manager, Business Development- 12 months FTC- Part time (3 days)

As a Project Manager in the Business Development function, you will be responsible for:

• Defining and managing the calendar for all Business Development strategic projects, working collaboratively across the multiple disciplines of the team and liaising with other areas of the organisation.

• Overseeing the planning and delivery of all Business Development strategic projects to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget to the premium standards required by the BMW Group, working with our suppliers and agency partners.

• Work collaboratively with the BMW and MINI stakeholders to ensure we have active participation in relevant projects.

• Implement, monitor and drive project planners to ensure sure that all milestones are met and that we remain on schedule to deliver our objectives.

• Strategic planning of all projects across a calendar year to ensure that we have the correct resource and budgets to deliver on our ambitions and objectives.

• Work with the wider Business Development Team and our agencies to plan and implement activities to drive business forward for both BMW Group and our Retail partners.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Team leadership / management experience (ideally multi-discipline).
• Ability to manage a budget to ensure spend is controlled for each project / initiative, delivering target return on investment (ROI) where applicable.
• Excellent planning skills to ensure that we deliver initiatives on time and on budget.
• Experienced supplier manager to ensure we get the best out of our partners.
• Strong communicator, confident in interacting with all levels of management.
• Scrum / sprint team leadership is desirable, ideally within the automotive sector.
• Management / leadership of a team member(s) is also a key element of the role.
• Experience of Events Management is highly desirable.
